I just looked it up on Dictionary.com, and the (^) punctuation is actually spelled "caret," but not "carot" or "carrot." o.O Who knew? Edit: Technically, it's not even a caret. It's a circumflex accent. A caret is used in subscript to add punctuation during proofreading and such. We all fail! |
