Rules « Thread Started on Sept 22, 2007, 7:30pm »
1. No God Moding. If you see someone doing so, please report to an admin or Global Mod, and do not cause a fight.
2. If you decide to leave the sight, don't post a farewell message stating rude things about the members, staff, and site, but feel free to tell us that you will not be returning.
3. No hybrids. This means no half water benders, half fire benders, or whatever.
4. In the Cbox please refrain from speaking ill of anyone or anything, if you have a problem with something, PM a staff member.
5. Cussing is allowed.
6. Romance is allowed. Please keep it to a minimal. If it gets too out of hand the thread will be deleted and you will be warned.
7. NO double posting. If you need to say something else and no one else has posted, you may modify the previous ones. This goes for OOC as well.
6. Karma rates you based on how you roleplay and how well liked you are around here. Do not Curse someone just because you feel like it, but you are welcome to Bless them if you have nothing else to do. Otherwise please only Bless or Curse when you wish to rate their roleplaying. You may only Bless or Curse ANYONE once per hour.
7. Only airbenders can fly.
8. Firebenders can control lightning and if powerful enough can make volcanoes explode.
9. Fighting is IC is allowed. Do not fight in OOC.
10. You cannot be an admiral, general, or lord of any nation without Dark/Avea/Captain Ember/Princess Teruha's permission. (They're the same person.)
11. Make your posts lengthy. There is NO replying with just quotes. If you do so a Mod or Admin will send you a warning. If things go on that they are not long enough I will get a friend of mine to add a few codes that will make it so you can't post unless the post is long enough.
12. NO chatspeak.
13. Words are in "" NOT BOLD.
14. Thoughts are in '' or Italics.
15. There is only ONE Avatar and the position has been taken. Do not post you are an avatar in training or something like that.
16. Respect all members.
17. You may have 3-5 accounts, keep them all active.
18. ONE character per account.
19. You can only be in ONE place at a time and when you leave be sure to state you are.
20. Please no siggys that stretch the board. If you do not change your siggy after a warning, only one, it will be deleted.
21. Use the Spell Check! Mods will be watching posts and making sure you are at least bothering to proof read your posts. Also be sure to capitalize the first letter of each sentance as well as the letter, I, also use correct punctuation.
22. No magic and fantasy things.
23. If you are in a thread with someone and they aren't on while you are, do NOT leave the thread and go to another one. Wait for the person.
24. On that note, if you are in a thread with two or more other people, do not go on a posting spree with the other people while the third person isn't on. Wait for them. You can make a few posts but wait. But if you and another three people are in a thread and you and one person leave the area with thoes people but are still in the thread, then you can post as much as you want.

25) We have a board for Advertisements/Affliates, do NOT go around PMing members with advertisements. This will get you a warning, especially if I catch you.
26) Please do not all flood one thread. It there are already a lot of people in a thread, don't join it. Find another, or start one yourself. You're welcome to join it, but please, not EVERYONE.
27) Do not advertise in our C-Box. Again, we have a place for advertising.
28) Please do not do something on our site becasue a member did it on yours. If they did so, but you have no rules against it, then it is not their fault. If you do have rules, let us know what they did, and we'll take care of it. Thank you.
Liquid Time means that one account with one character can be in multiple threads, and, in effect, multiple places at once. This rule is allowed so that a member can have multiple RPs going on at one time in case he or she starts a thread and it is joined by someone less active than him or her. Please be sure to at least mentally keep a general timeline of where your character has been and at what time, so that if confronted about it IC or if your character meets up with others in a thread that they know from another thread, there is no awkward Fourth-Wall-breaking insofar as time goes.
((Fourth Wall is the wall between our world and the RP world. A break of the Fourth Wall means that something illogical happens in the RP world because of a mistake OoC, and tends to lead to a lot of confusion and general IC mayhem, and possibly the shut down of one of more threads.))
